The venerable 6.5 Creedmoor has become a “darling” amongst accuracy hounds and big game hunters alike. For those unfamiliar with the cartridge, picture the .243 winchester with a .264 caliber bullet stuffed in it. In spite of all its accolalades, it does not offer magnimum velocity or knock down energy. What the Creed lacks in horsepower, it makes up for with consistent shot-to-shot precision, low velocity deviations, and a variety of outstanding long range bullet options. The Creedmoor is also notable for it’s low recoil, particularly as equipped with our highly efficient Ti-Beast, 3-Port muzzle brake. Lighter recoiling rifles are much easier to shoot accurately for less experienced shooters.
6.5 Creedmoor is ideal for medium sized big game such as whitetail, antelope, black bear, mule deer, sheep, and caribou. It’s capable of taking elk sized game, but shot placement is more critical and shooters should be prudent to limit the range of their shots. Young and smaller framed shooters or anyone sensitive to recoil will likely appreciate the Creed’s mild manners.
The 6.5 Creedmoor has proven itself many times over as a precision cartridge capable of winning long range matches as well as an effective big game round. We typically use Hornady’s 143 grain ELDX bullet with this cartridge. It offers exceptional ballistics and terminal performance on game.
This Creed is built on a sexy Lone peak titanium action, minimizing carry weight for high country hunting. It’s hard to shoot groups larger than 1/2″ with this rifle.

You will seriously damage your hearing and that of those around if you shoot any of our muzzle brake equipped rifles without proper hearing protection. Ear plugs are supplied with every rifle rental. Use it or lose it! We can also provide threaded caps for the muzzle if you prefer to hunt without the brake. Please note that you may experience a slight shift in impact switching between brake or threaded cap. Please let us know if you prefer to hunt without the brake and we can zero the rifle without.
